Hi from Logan

Hi All! Logan here. I decided to take over this blog thing. Mommy is pretty busy these days, what with feeding me, changing my diaper, trying to keep up with the laundry, and all that kind of stuff. I thought I would cut her a break by taking this thing over. So yesterday I went to Multnomah Falls with my parents and Aunt Beth and Uncle Kevin. I didn't really see the falls, I slept through it until the very end. Oh well. Then we went to the McMenamins Edgefield. I was a little fussy there, but I was just trying to tell Mom and Dad that I had a wet diaper and I was tired! Geez, if they would just listen!

Aunt Beth left last night, and Uncle Kevin just left tonight. I miss them already, they were lots of fun. We played with my activity mat, held hands, and smiled together a lot. I have even started laughing lately, so they got to laugh with me.

I gotta get going. Big day tomorrow, Mom and I are going to a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting early. Gotta get my beauty sleep. I posted some pics from yesterday. Aunt Beth and Uncle Kevin got me some cool shades; they make me look even more like a rock star. They come in handy with all those flashes when people take pictures of me (which is all the time)! Beth and Kevin Visit; Sleeping All Night!

Aunt Beth and Uncle Kevin came out to visit this week. Logan is loving the attention, and all the excitement! Thursday, Beth, Kevin, Mommy and Logan met Daddy out for lunch during his break. Then Aunt Beth and Uncle Kevin got to babysit while Mommy went to a work meeting. After Daddy got home from work Aunt Beth met Mommy out and went to "Mommy's Night Out" at the Painted Plate. We painted a cute dish and bowl set for Logan in a Sweetpea theme.

Friday Logan got to experience the mall for the first time. He did great, and gained new members of the LGB Fan Club (people want to join every where we go!). We got a great new mobile from Pottery Barn Kids to put on Logan's crib (Thanks Uncle Dick & Aunt Joan). And Mommy got some new clothes. :) We also got to try out the Mommy's Nursing Lounge in the mall, so that Logan could have some lunch. Then we did some grocery shopping and got some yummy chocolate at Moonstruck; Logan was a cheerful trooper all day long.

Logan had a really big day today, we went to the Portland Saturday Market. He spent a lot of time outside in the fresh air. He was a little fussy a few times today, but we got through it. It was a lot for a little guy! He should sleep good tonight!

Actually, Logan has been sleeping through the night (the whole night!) since Sunday, the 16th! One night he even slept for 11.5 hours! (Mommy called the Doctor's office after that night, just to make sure that was normal:) )

I think Logan's sleeping and eating habits are changing a bit; he seems to be eating a little less and sleeping a little more. But we are adjusting as we go. He is up around 13 pounds now and 25 inches long. He will have to switch from the bassinet in Mommy and Daddy's room to the crib in the Nursery soon, as the bassinet has a 15 pound weight limit! That will be a few sleepless nights probably, but more for Mommy than for Logan I bet! :)

Logan is smiling a whole lot now, and has even started to laugh a bit! His laughs are usually silent, but so much fun to watch!

That's all for now, it is late and Mommy needs sleep!
